An amazing performance from the youngsuper star! His dialogue delivery, body language, voice modulations, dance movements are all right inplace and VTV is a definite milestone for him. Hehas lived the character of Karthik in every cell. His dexterity with feet reaches a crescendo in theHosanna number. Trisha is lovely in Nalini Sriram’ssimple, relatable costumes and comes alive as a confusedwoman, not knowing her path. Ganesh as Silambarasan’sfriend is adorable and the combination takes chargeof humor component. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha makea cameo. Directorial touches of Gautham Menon are abundantthrough out the film especially with the portrayalof his characters which are very real. His stamp isunmistakable in the last scene when he juxtaposesreel and real events. The director once again provesthat he is after all a master craftsman especiallyin matters of love. The dialogues between Silambarasanand Ganesh are highly enjoyable and natural and thatbetween him and Trisha receive loud applause fromthe audience. A sample is Silambarasan’s retortto Trisha when she wonders about his trip to Kerala-“When people go all out to America to woo theirgirl, I have after all come to Kerala.”This is the first time Gautham teams up with A R Rahmanand his music has already scorched the charts andthe songs are the strong pillars to the film. Audiencebreaks into a thunderous rapture with Hosanna andthe choreography only highlights the effects of thenumber. Omana Penne is a poetic delight when the music, lyrics and the visuals weave a magical spell! It is a visual treat through Manoj Paramahamsa’scamera work when the backwaters of Kerala, ancientchurches of Malta and USA are brought alive. The songsequences are an aural and a visual pleasure indeed!Antony at the editing desk and Rajeevan helming artdepartment lend the right kind of support to the film.On the flip side, the narration takes its own sweettime to unfold and it does not help much especiallyin the second half when things take time to move forwardwhich tests the patience. The scene between Trishaand Silambarasan in USA is one such example. For peoplewho expect a breezy love story VTV might disappointthem. A uniform engaging script and a crisper narrativecould have tilted the balance completely in favorof this all love flick. Verdict:Dreamy love story in an unhurried pace!OTHERREVIEWSAZHUKKANCLICKTOH BAAT PAKKIMY NAME IS KHANTHEERATHA VILAYATTU PILLAIMOREMOVIE REVIEWSTamil|Tamilnadu | TamilSongs | TamilActor | TamilActress | TamilMovie | TamilNews | KollywoodTamil Movies | Tamil Actors | Tamil Video | Tamil Cinema | Tamil Galleries | Tamil trailerChennai| TamilGallery | Tamiltrailers | TamilMovies downloadEverything about Tamil movies,Tamil Actors, Tamil Actresses, Tamil Cinema & KollywoodBehindwoods.com © 2004-2010; PrivacyPolicy ; Termsof Service
